Forster isn't concerned with a rain-affected track for Poste Restante who is being aimed at the weight-for-age features in the G2 Hollindale Cup at the Gold Coast and G1 Doomben Cup next month.
Poste Restante burst onto the scene as a winter carnival contender last campaign winning four of her five Brisbane starts before finishing sixth in the G3 Summer Cup (2400m) at Rosehill on Boxing Day.
"She's been in work a while after having a month off and she did a lot of pre-training at Washpool Lodge before coming back into work with me," Forster said.
"There's not much of her but she's very honest.
"She'll be ridden cold from her bad alley and whatever she does in this race she's going to take a lot of improvement."
Apprentice Kirk Matheson will ride the daughter of Postponed for the first time but Forster is hopeful Michael Cahill will be available for the four-year-old's winter campaign.
