Former central Queensland sprinter Dream'n'ignite lived up to trainer Desleigh Forster's assessment with another dominant win at Eagle Farm midweek.
Forster predicted a bright future for the daughter of Monashee Mountain and so far the five-year-old hasn't let her down by maintaining her unbeaten record in Brisbane.
Dream'n'ignite made a stunning debut in the Brisbane metropolitan, leading all the way for an easy four lengths win over 1110 metres at Doomben on October 10.
It was her first start for Forster and her first run this campaign after being turned out for a break following a failure at Rockhampton in April.
Dream'n'ignite started 10 times in the Mackay and Rockhampton regions for her previous trainer Mick Attard but her only success was in maiden class at Mackay in June last year.
Having won her maiden over 1250 metres, Forster has no qualms about stepping Dream'n'ignite up in distance from her previous 1110 metre win at Doomben.
"I thought she was a good thing at her first start for me and I was confident she could win again over 1200 metres," Forster said.
"She's always shown me a lot of ability and she's a nice mare.
"If she keeps taking the next step I'm confident she can eventually go on to win in Saturday grade."
Apprentice Rosie Myers produced a perfect ride on Dream'n'ignite allowing her to sit off the pace before striding up to take the lead and record a comfortable win over Ticket To Dream.
Forster is having one of her best seasons for some time and appreciates having one of the best clients around in former bookmaker, Doug Forbes.
It was Forbes who recommended to Dream'n'ignite's owners to send the mare to Forster if they wanted to test her in the tougher Brisbane company.
